Mel Giedroyc, who was announced in July as a #2022InternationalBooker judge, has unexpectedly had to step down for personal reasons. She will be replaced by writer, comedian and TV, radio and podcast presenter @VivGroskop. Viv joins a panel chaired by translator Frank Wynne and consisting of: author and academic Merve Emre; writer and lawyer @PetinaGappah; and translator and author Jeremy Tiang.
