Did you know that Trey Baker, one of the Senior Advisors for the Harris-Walz campaign, is a brother of Kappa Alpha Psi from Tougaloo College?  

From his early days as a Fall 2003 Kappa initiate  to his influential roles in national campaigns and the White House, Trey’s journey is a testament to the values of Black Greek Letter Organizations—dedication, teamwork, and advocacy. Now, he’s once again at the forefront, working to ensure that Black voices are heard and represented in the democratic process.

We at Watch The Yard just published a story about him where he opens up about why he joined the Harris-Walz campaign as a Senior Advisor, why he thinks it would be special to have a D9 soror(Alpha Kappa Alpha) as president and why his role isn’t just about holding titles—it’s about fostering community, identifying strengths, and working toward a greater goal.
