Today former Louisville police detective, #BrettHankinson was found guilty of violating #BreonnaTaylor’s rights by using excessive force during a fatal raid in Louisville, Kentucky in 2020.

Hankison was the only officer charged for his actions during the raid, as he fired 10 shots into her glass door and windows. Although none of the shots that Hankison fired struck Taylor, the other officers, fired the shots that eventually led to the untimely death of a 26-year-old Breonna Taylor. According to, cnn “The conviction against Hankison carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.”
