Today’s faculty feature is Ryan A. Brandt, PhD who is one of our Honors College professors for Christian Worldview, Survey of Historical Theology, and Honors Symposium!
 
“I have been thrilled to use my gifts to serve the students here in the College of Theology and the Honors College for the last 10 years.”
 
Some accomplishments and roles Dr. Brandt has held include serving as managing editor of the Journal of Biblical and Theological Studies and as an editor and contributor to notable publications like “Theological Interpretation of Scripture for Spiritual Formation” and “Spiritual Formation for the Global Church”. He is also the editor of an international journal called “Perichoresis”.
 
Dr. Brandt believes in the power of education and cherishes “light bulb” moments for his students. One of his favorite aspects of working with honors students is their eagerness to learn and produce excellent work. His passion for teaching is reflected in the various awards he has earned, including the most recent: Honors Faculty of the Year” and “Most Impactful Faculty”.
 
Dr. Brandt is currently working on publications and projects related to topics such as Beatific Vision, Theosis, Contemplation, Spiritual Reading, and more! We appreciate all he does!
