Last month, PSO Senior Gordon Parker was awarded the Chief Commissioner’s Commendation at the Police Academy for saving a man’s life in March.⁣

The ex-military worker and skilled first aider was on hand to apply a torniquet to the man prior to the arrival of paramedics.⁣
⁣
The award was presented by Deputy Commissioner Robert Hill, with members of the Transit Central Local Area Command also present to congratulate Gordon.⁣
⁣
We congratulate Gordon on his remarkable and continued efforts in keeping the community safe.⁣
