After suffering bitter ends in each of the previous two seasons, the Dutchmen celebrated a 1-0 win over Fox Lane in the Section 1 Class AA championship on Sunday, Nov. 3. Finally. They got a goal in the first minute and made it stand up.

“I think everyone, from Day 1 of the season, knew this was coming home,” senior forward Brady Jacobs said while holding the gold ball trophy. “You could see how badly we all wanted it. There was a minute left and guys were hurting, guys were exhausted, but this means the world to us.”
