Today, an annular #eclipse will cross the #southern #hemisphere. Annular eclipses occur when the #moon moves in between the #sun and the #Earth, but is too far away to totally block out all the #light (as happens in a #solar eclipse). The resulting #RingofFire will be visible from parts of #SouthAmerica and #Africa. .
