#Spider #webs showcase an impressive range of spider strategies for ensnaring #prey. Some webs include sticky anchor threads to trip insects that come across them—the more the #insect struggles, the more entangled it becomes into the #web. Others take the form of elaborate circular nets that #trap unsuspecting flying prey. Some spiders even construct #silk tubes with threads across the tube's mouth that, if touched by prey, alert the spider to the prey's presence.
