## Caption

Mute #swans are an iconic symbol of love, but in many North American areas they’re an invasive nuisance. The swans are large and aggressive, and gobble up a lot of the underwater vegetation that native #birds feed upon. New York state is currently weighing both lethal and non-lethal methods of controlling the mute swan population.
