## Caption

Lisa Blunt Rochester of Delaware and Angela Alsobrooks of Maryland, both Democrats, have each won their U.S. Senate races, NBC News projects. They will each be the first women to represent their respective states in the Senate.

It will also be the first time two Black women have served in the Senate at the same time.

Only three Black women have served in the Senate in history: Harris, Carol Moseley Braun of Illinois and Laphonza Butler of California.
