✨ 𝟠 𝔻𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣𝕤 ✨ 

Saving Leah Iglesias for last in the spirit of LILO—last in, last out!  Leah joined this remarkable class two years in when she arrived  as a transfer midway through Sophomore year. She was a no brainer, having been one of our top recruits out of high school. 🤩

Our only regret is we didn’t have those 2 extra years with her, but we always said 2 is better than none. Leah always sets a tone with work rate, and it will be the first thing everyone notices in the field, but she is much more than that. A gifted soccer player and athlete, she has a deep understanding of the game and puts an incredible amount of effort into her development. Watching  an endless amount of games, analyzing clips, putting in the technical work, and grinding out extra reps in weight room—-Leah does it all with a relentless mindset. 😤

Joining a team in the offseason and midway through her career was not an easy undertaking. But she won over the hearts of all of us and gradually established herself as an unbelievable leader, teammate and friend. We can’t think of any possible way she could have given more of herself, on or off the field. 👊🏻

We have no doubt that Leah’s competitive spirit will pave out a successful path in the big game of life!  Love You Leah 🫶🏻
