Happy National First Generation Day Slugs!! 📚🎓

💡Ismael and Emily share some resources, insights, and tips as First-Generation students here at UCSC!

💻 Check out some of the resources mentioned in the Slug Chat:

📣 National first-generation day is a call to celebrate students, faculty and staff who are the first in their family to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree in the United States! 🗓️ November 8 was identified as the date for the annual National First-Generation College Celebration to honor the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965. 📝

🌲Here at UCSC, we celebrate and uplift our First-Generation Students! We are all in this together! 🎉
