The City and Community: Jaidyn Bichell uses soccer as her intro to HER Community. Where she's from in Howard County, Maryland, playing ball with girls that look like, sound like, or even play like her is rare. We all have a special connection with where we're from but oftentimes the community that is so vital to us, extends outside of where we live.

Through the Allstate Next Wave Showcase, Jaidyn and others like her are given an opportunity to find and play with those who come from similar backgrounds. As well as a chance to be inducted into the Black Star Academy.
