What happens when you invite a historic architecture expert to your home?

I recently welcomed Brent Hull, owner and founder of hullmillwork_hullhomes to provide his insight on my 1920’s Mediterranean home in Chicago’s Northshore. 

Brent and I connect on a number of different philosophies and values when it comes to home building and preservation. Brent has a unique talent for building period-inspired new custom homes, renovating old homes, and manufacturing historically authentic architectural millwork.

On November 15th, we will dive deeper into some of Brent’s suggestions and sketches for our house.
