She was honored with the 2024 Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication Women of Distinction Award⁠—which is presented in recognition of her outstanding professional accomplishments and contributions to the field. 

As the Senior Vice President of the News Partnerships at NBCUniversal, she was a key player in the growth NBC News and MSNBC gained over the years. Not to mention, in 2019, Festa was inducted into our Alumni Hall of Fame!
