After a month following Portland’s once-mysterious arctic fox from home to home, the snowy white wonder is getting ready to say goodbye to Oregon. For now, though, it’s living large at the Oregon Zoo.

The fox has bounced around the city since being spotted near the Sellwood Bridge in early October — first at a wildlife center with the Bird Alliance of Oregon, then the zoo. Its next stop is the Ochsner Park Zoo in Baraboo, Wisconsin, where it’ll join a male fox named Apollo. It’s last day at the zoo is Thursday.
