Ready to make a positive change with just a text? Text 'GHS2023,' your chosen amount, and your name to 41444 to join our text-to-give week. Your generosity transforms lives!

Gub Gub's started in 2021 as a dream of a family wanting to offer more than a fun and friendly experience for travelers and locals in Walsenburg (a rural town in Southern, CO). Co-owner, Greenhouse Alum and Young Leader, Helena Cappon Class of 2019, works to transcend a standard restaurant model in an effort to give back to the community that has given her so much.

Through partnerships, donations, time, and support, Gub Gub's promises to use part of every purchase to support a thriving community through schools, youth, and the local food and clothing pantry. Helena also has the help of fellow Young Leader Tyler Cunningham who, after managing an aquaponics startup for seven years, has joined Helena in Walsenburg.

To be entered for a chance to win a 2-day all-expense paid trip to Walsenburg to visit Gub Gub’s with Helena, volunteer for our End of Year Campaign! Email Wendy at wguardado@greenhousescholars.org for more info.
