I’ve been trying to avoid this post because once I share it that means it’s all over. I could honestly write a book about the past 4 year but I won’t let y’all read a novel. I first just want to thank God for a healthy 4 years. He’s blessed me in so many ways that I can’t explain. 

To my mom/coach, thank you for believing in me. Thank you for creating me into a better athlete, woman, and best friend. We’ve made so much history together that gives a feeling that can’t be described. Our duo shall never end but now we just part ways. I love you and thank you for keep my head on straight. 

To my support system and friends thank you for always being here there for me. Win lose or draw y’all never fail to uplift me. Mental health is real and my small circle does a great job at keeping me stable.

To milesplit , ncrunners, jdlfasttrack , and ncattrackfield . Thank you for supporting me from the beginning to end. Y’all have played a big part in my
Journey by letting me be myself on interviews to taking the best pictures, to now allowing me to break a state record on the track. It’s been a honor to unleash my gifts on the facilities. I’m going to miss it so much🥹.

Lastly, Thank you to the “A” man. I love you all. I appreciate how welcoming everyone one and how supportive everyone was even though I was new. Albemarle showed me what it means to be appreciated and apart of a team. I’ve never felt a love like this from a school and I can’t express how much it means to me. Note of advice - YOU CAN BE GREAT NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE AND WE ARE LIVING PROOF OF THAT. Never limit yourself and keep being amazing! And yes….I promise I’ll come back to visit 😂
