At Bachman’s, our tree tops for winter decorations come from white or black spruce trees, harvested in Northern Minnesota and Canada. The gathering of spruce tops is a delicate process, and does not involve the harvesting of actual tree tops. Spruce tops, which grow up from the root system of a mature spruce tree, are a regenerative crop that can be harvested year after year. Grown in this manner, spruce tops have the form and foliage of more mature trees, often bearing cones at a very small size. #sustainability #bringholidayhome
