In his first year at #USAFA, C1C Leo Sterns Rentas earned the prestigious German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge—one of the few foreign awards authorized for U.S. servicemembers. 🇺🇸🇩🇪

Now as a Firstie, Leo supervised about 60 cadets as they took on a series of challenging military events while attempting to earn this decoration.

“Achieving a prestigious military decoration like the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge shows you are taking the initiative to improve yourself as a future commissioned officer and warfighter.”
