Taking the prop off of this Yamaha so we can grease and inspect! ⚓️✨
You can prevent corrosion by keeping fishing line out of the prop shaft.
If fishing line gets pushed into the seal and tears it, then water will get into the prop shaft.
This will make your gear oil come out milky, and cause corrosion or damage to your lower end unit.
