We learn when in a film’s lifecycle she begins working, and she reveals her approach to taking photos that represent the characters and tone of the story being created by a cast and crew. Melinda Sue later shares how she survived the transition from film to digital photography, and we learn how she organizes all those files at the end of a day. Towards the end of the episode, we also discuss taking photographs for fun, and we reflect on the pleasure of staring at one static picture amidst today’s glut of imagery.⁠
