New day new me. Hopefully 😬
This workout was pretty simple and it basically all came down to efficiency on the peg board, which he hadn’t been able to practice much 😂.
Normally this is the kind of event where I would have some confidence in my ability to learn on the fly and would still Be fairly aggressive from the start, but the way the weekend had been going my confidence was a bit shaken. 
I decided to take a slower approach on the peg board thinking with high heart rate my precision on the board might suffer and the worst thing you can do out there is start missing holes and dangling from the board. My grip endurance is pretty good so I figured it would be ok. Lay and wait for other people to make mistakes. 
Well jokes on me, no one really made any 😂 and the slow burn on the board took a bigger toll on my grip than I expected. I broke the last traverse up and was in a race with a few guys for the last cross. I thought I felt ok but made it about two holes from the end before I didn’t have enough juice left to even move the pegs out. 
Failure takes a long time to come back from so I got to take a nice 2 minute holiday on the floor with 1 rep remaining, which is very painful. I wrapped it up and got in for another disappointing finish.
My arms were like blocks and the next event had a lot of grip in it again so I moved on fast mentally to try and figure out how to get right for that. 
Side notes: it was awesome seeing fikowski crush this one on his last day of competition ever. The chant that ensued was amazing. That euro stadium energy is what we came for. Outcomes aside, This was a very fun event. 10/10 would do again.
