Here’s how I *knew*

1. I felt calm when we were together - my nervous system was not activated 

2. We aligned in the things that matter (kids school priorities spending etc) 

3. He was what I explicitly said and wrote and prayed that I wanted(it felt like an answered prayer) 

4. Religious/spiritual alignment 

5. The gut god feeling of just wanting to be together - regardless of all the hard things (and there were many!) i just kept wanting to be with him 

6. Many previous relationships that taught me beautiful and hard lessons about balance and what I need from partnership

There was a LOT that was tricky and challenging, but it was clear to me he was my one. Praise the lord!!! Via gentle_jew
