What time is it? Turkey time. 🦃 Everyone has their favorite way of making a Thanksgiving turkey and they all claim it’s the best. There’s the beer can, the spatchcook, the hours on the smoker. And NOW? There’s the ranch method.

If you’re ready to wow your Thanksgiving guests and maybe even start a new tradition, you have GOT to try this ranch turkey recipe!

Using Hidden Valley Ranch as a glaze, this turkey comes out of the oven juicy and delicious!

Here's how to make it:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F. Pat turkey dry with paper towels, including inside the cavity. Place turkey on a roasting rack set inside a large roasting pan or a disposable roasting pan.

2️⃣ Mix ¾ cup Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, 10 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp rosemary, 1 tbsp thyme, 1 tbsp sage, lemon zest, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Season the turkey: loosen the skin over the turkey breast and thighs by sliding your fingers underneath. Spread the herb-ranch mixture evenly beneath the skin and all over the turkey's surface. Season the inside of the cavity with salt and pepper. Stuff the cavity with 2 lemon halves, 1 head of garlic halved crosswise, 1 halved onion, ½ bunch fresh thyme, ½ bunch fresh parsley, ½ bunch fresh rosemary, and a handful of fresh sage.

4️⃣ Tuck the wings under the turkey and tie the legs together with kitchen twine. Cover the turkey loosely with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning.

5️⃣ Roast for 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) when measured in the thickest part of the breast and thigh. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of roasting. Brush the turkey with ¼ cup ranch dressing for added flavor and a beautifully browned finish.

6️⃣ Once fully cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving. This ensures the juices redistribute for a moist and delicious turkey. And of course serve with extra ranch dressing for dipping!
