Frxsco Dance Sessions x Spartan Dance Center: Capital City Workshop | Part 3 - Introduces Grace Darling: 

Grace Darling is a creator guided by music. With a distinct style rooted in hip-hop and inspired by various genres, her movement embodies the grooves of rhythm to transform musicality into a visual experience. 

Grace started dancing as a competitive studio dancer at 8 years old in Lansing, MI. She was technically trained in all styles, but fell in love with the grooves of hip-hop. She moved to Grand Rapids, MI to pursue an education and quickly became immersed in the West Michigan dance scene. She gained leadership experience as president of GVSU’s hip-hop club, Move 2 the Beat, and performative experience dancing and choreographing for the Grand Rapids Drive Dance Team. Post college, Grace trained and created with DanceSpire and Essence Mvmt Co. 

Recently, Grace has found an interest in expanding her training by traveling. She enjoys learning at dance conventions around the Midwest, such as Monsters Dance and REVEAL:The Community Link, in Chicago, IL and A.I.M Intensive in Milwaukee, WI. She auditioned for several professional performance opportunities that led to the exposure of the dance community on the East Side of Michigan. She trained extensively with UnderGods dance crew in Detroit, MI to perform for BMW and audition for World of Dance. She was also invited to perform with Detroit R&B Singer Racquel Soledad & Team Sol at local festivals and events. Most recently, Grace has teamed up with Delta Dance Connection in Lansing, MI to share hip-hop with their youth performance team.
