Comment “WEIGHT” below for a DM with a link to the full breakdown video and a guide to reverse dieting!

Weight maintenance doesn’t have to be stressful! If you wake up one morning and notice a 2 lb increase, it’s likely not fat gain. It could be due to food volume, water retention, or even a poor night’s sleep. Weight maintenance can fluctuate by 4–5 lbs, and that’s completely normal! 💪

Many people are concerned about maintenance when it comes to reverse dieting. Reverse dieting involves gradually increasing your calories intake after a period of dieting to maintain your weight while enjoying about 500 extra calories a day. This is essential for long-term weight maintenance and weight loss, as you can’t stay in a caloric deficit forever.

You might be hesitant about reverse dieting because it seems like a crazy concept to add calories and maintain your weight. However, it’s actually a logical approach. By increasing your calories slowly, your body can adjust and maintain its weight without gaining excess fat. Remember, it’s completely normal for your weight to fluctuate; our bodies naturally respond to a variety of factors like activity levels and hydration. Don’t get discouraged by small changes, finding that balance is key!

According to Meta’s updates, you’ll need to be following me to receive the DM. No pressure though! You can click the link in my bio.
