Amazing news! 🎉: In response to a petition and lawsuit by the Center + our allies, the USFWS this week proposed listing four species of #giraffes under the Endangered Species Act! 

Tragically, the tallest of all land mammals are in the midst of a silent extinction: #Giraffe populations have plummeted nearly 40% in the last few decades due to habitat loss, civil unrest, poaching and human-caused habitat changes. 

We want to ensure that these majestic mammals survive — and thrive — in Africa to stir imaginations for generations to come.
