🗣️ NAU's ENV 675 graduate class (Topics in Environmental Discourse - Mitigation) partnered with nauforestry to plant 2️⃣8️⃣0️⃣ ponderosa pines in the 1950 A1 Fire scar 🌲👏🏼🌱⁠
⁠
This project supports reforestation efforts, especially in areas affected by wildfires 🌲❤️
⁠
Seven teams (GPS, soil, weather station, drone, literature review, site summary, and marketing and fundraising teams) collaborated on the planting and final project write-up. ⁠
⁠
💻 Individuals can visit our website to donate directly to the CSS Foundation & sponsor a ponderosa pine that the class planted. Each tier has a different donation amount and provides the individual with different items based on their donation (i.e. certificate, GPS coordinates of their sponsored tree, getting to name their tree, etc.). ⁠
