Volleyball BC recognizes the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is intended to educate and remind Canadians about the history of residential schools, honour the victims and celebrate the survivors.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation coincides with Orange Shirt Day, inviting you to wear orange shirts on September 30th each year to honour survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.

The art piece is 'Vitality' by thomascannell, an Coast Salish artist born on Musqueam traditional territory.

In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, Volleyball BC staff and Board of Directors is making a commitment to learn more about the Traditional Territories on which we live, work, and play and commit to developing positive relationships  with local Indigenous peoples and communities.
