Zander has battled through injuries early this season but stepped up big in his second start against #9 ranked Loyalist. Zander played a crucial role in the team’s victory, putting up 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. His determination and resilience are truly inspiring, and we’re excited to see more from him as we push for success in our final games. 💪

Ferana Rouhi Maleki excelled in a key defensive role this week, even when the contributions didn’t show up on the stat sheet. Her leadership in serve receive and defense was critical in the Colts’ tough road battles against some of the OCAA’s top teams. Ferana’s quiet leadership is a major asset to the team! 💥

Omer Abdi is this week’s Colt of the Week for his continuous growth and commitment to learning. As a new athlete to volleyball, Omer stepped up in his first significant game action against Seneca, delivering some impressive kills and key blocks that slowed down the Seneca offense. His hard work and development on and off the court are inspiring! 🌟
