ANITA ALVAREZ REPRESENTS 🇺🇸 ON ANOTHER LEVEL

The Department of the Air Force World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) provides elite athletes with the opportunity to train full-time for up to three years to compete in the Olympics. Applicants must meet strict standards and show strong potential to make the Olympic team. Anita Alvarez, a three-time Olympian and recent silver medalist, qualified immediately for the program. 🥈

Anita began basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, on November 19 and will attend Personnel technical training at Keesler AFB, MS. Upon completing her technical training, she will join WCAP and return to Los Angeles to train for the LA28 Olympics. As WCAP’s first-ever U.S. Olympian and Olympic medalist, Anita’s journey marks a historic moment for the program. 

USAAS is incredibly proud of Anita for taking the next step to serve and represent her country while striving to become a four-time Olympian. ❤️
