Take a deep breathe, then stop and stare for a minute. Exhale and immerse yourself in the unbridled beauty of the Okefenokee. ✨

When most people think of a swamp, they probably think of murky water, mud and maybe even a pungent smell. But the #Okefenokee swamp is so much more than that.

It's one of the world's largest pristine freshwater swamps and is home to alligators, black bears, and even endangered species like red-cockaded woodpeckers and eastern indigo snakes. Yet a titanium mine slated for just outside its borders could disrupt it all.

The profits of a single company aren’t worth risking the health of one of the most important wetlands on Earth.

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to expand Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and *permanently* protect this precious place from mining.

Even if you have never been there, or may never even visit there you can still help speak up for this biodiverse ecosystem.
