The price for a highly customized, curvaceous rural Ashland dwelling with flair compared to architect Antoni Gaudi has dropped to $4.5 million.

For the last three years, the asking price for the 708-acre property at 2700 N. Valley View Road had been $5,895,000.

The 8,880-square-foot house has curved stucco walls and rounded tile roofs topped by Byzantine-inspired cupolas. Blue granite counters, ornate ironwork and other features remind listing broker Chris Martin of Gaudi’s unfinished Catalan Modernism Sagrada Família church in Barcelona.
