After seven years, Anderson’s philanthropic venture “Cook’s Café” is still going strong, bringing Hawks and community members together to help end hunger in Charlotte. Check out WSOC-TV’s story above, detailing how Anderson combined his passion for cooking with inspiration from a field trip that his CLS class took to Loaves and Fishes, now known as Nourish Up, a local nonprofit fighting food insecurity in Mecklenburg County.
