C O U R A G E 🤍 Ten years ago I decided to share my story of loss. At a time of the year when most people were celebrating, I was devastated by the loss of my daughter at 33 weeks pregnant. She was beautiful and had so much dark hair. This Season’s Gold began as a result of that loss, to connect to anyone who felt the way I did, and needed to find a light in their daily lives and a way to move forward. So many women feel lost, alone and quite honestly afraid to share. But I fought against that fear and still do today in support of talking about one of the most painful experiences of having to lose and bury a child. There is no shame in honoring the lives we carried and felt in our hearts. 

I retold my story on thisseasonsgold.com and on Threads recently, and the outpouring of love and community reminded me that this will forever be an open space for your stories. Thank you for sharing them with me. I wish I could share them all here in this post.
