On Nov. 19, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service launched a website for participating hunters to get reimbursed for going lead-free.⁠

The reimbursements are part of an incentive-based pilot program on seven refuges around the country that was implemented by the USFWS in July. Eligible hunters who choose to use lead-free ammo for waterfowl, deer, and other critters at seven participating wildlife refuges can go online and request pre-paid debit cards.⁠
