At a walk for the National Eating Disorders Association, I met Dan in a crowd. Today, he walks in honor of his daughter, who lost her life to an eating disorder. Through his grief, he’s dedicated to helping others begin their journey of recovery and healing. When I asked if he was happy, he said softly, ‘It’s bittersweet, but I am.’ Dan shared that he is happy that so many people came to the NEDA walk to show support for those affected by eating disorders.
