Bergman averaged a double-double over two strong performances as Pomona-Pitzer Colleges split a pair of games in the annual David Wells Classic. With seven blocks, two steals and nine defensive rebounds Bergman played a key part in holding Southwestern University to just 55 points in a single-digit victory and playing No. 9 Trinity (Texas) University to a single-possession game in an eventual 73-71 defeat.
