## Caption

Having recipes you know by heart in your back pocket is a life saver when you have no clue what to make and a family to feed.

Made some beef stew with red wine, homemade stock, some herbs, mirepoix, potatoes, tomato paste, garlic and some seasonings.

I’ll get it up to a simmer and bake it at 325 covered for a couple hours while I tend to Dad duty.
