## Caption

After averaging 29 points per game in @macknighthoops victories over Austin High and Manor Tech, senior George McCoy finds himself nominated to be this week’s @statesman Boys Athlete of the Week. You can show your support for McCoy and the boys basketball team by casting a few votes and then maybe a few more at the link in our bio before Friday’s 4 p.m. deadline. As an added benefit, you are likely to sharpen your basic computation skills. Photo by Julia Copas.
