"My name is Emmanuel Murindwa, I’m 23 years old. I was born in Gisagara District, Rwanda, and I currently live in Kigali City, Rwanda. I love Goodwall because it’s a platform that empowers young people to connect, learn, and showcase their talents globally. ⁠

I discovered the Goodwall App last year, in 2023, when the Ministry of Youth and Arts of Rwanda posted about the #EcoPitchRwanda Challenge. I presented my eco-friendly briquettes business idea, became one of the final winners, and won a prize for the first time. It was surprising for me to see a platform that supports ideas and talents without asking, 'Where have you worked before?' or 'Who can recommend you?'. ⁠

Since winning the prize, my business idea has become a reality, and I am thrilled to see it growing. The support and motivation from Goodwall gave me the confidence to turn my idea into a practical solution. ⁠

I was also recently honored as a winner in the #BestPhoto2024 Challenge, which further boosted my motivation to keep sharing my journey. Since then, I’ve stayed online not just to pass time but to explore the talents, skills, and knowledge shared by others. ⁠

The skills I learned from the platform motivated me to volunteer in my local community as a Nutritionist by profession. I contributed to screening for non-communicable diseases in the community and had the opportunity to provide nutritional counseling on their management and prevention.⁠
