Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚

🏒 j_seifarth, pennstatemhky third goaltender and former member of the club hockey program, started the first two games of his career and led the Nittany Lions to a series sweep against Colgate stopping 47-of-50 shots for a .940 save percentage and a 1.50 goals-against average for the week. Seifarth helped the penalty kill unit go a perfect 4-for-4 in the two games making crucial saves including a highlight reel stick save that graced SportsCenter’s Top-10 plays on Wednesday night at No. 2

🏐 carolinejurevicius had the best match of her young career while helping No. 4 pennstatevball secure the 18th bigten title in program history. She went off for a career-high 18 kills on .414 hitting and added two blocks and two digs in a 3-1 win over No. 2 Nebraska in front of a sold-out crowd Friday at Rec Hall. It was the Nittany Lions’ first win over Nebraska since 2017 and the team’s first Big Ten title since 2017. The 18 kills easily eclipsed her previous career-high total of 11. Earlier in the week she contributed five kills, three digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 sweep at Rutgers.
