Coach Splitter last night said 🎙️ “He is a giant, forget about his height. He is a giant. He is the leader of this team”, and I couldn’t agree more with him after witnessing in person TJ Shorts playing last night against Olympiacos. 
🏀 tjshorts5 , the euroleague MVP for the month of November, has played an instrumental role in guiding Paris to a league-best 11-3 record. Last night he scored 21pts and served 8 assists a combination that resulted in a total of 40 points for his team and he did all that in just 27min 🤯
He recently said to one of his interviews, that many people doubt him because of his height and question his potential and ability to play in Euroleague. Well, one thing is for sure by now, they all wish they hadn’t said that! 

TJ plays basketball in an amazing speed, he shoots the ball really well, he is a very crafted ball handler, he reads the close-out defence and attacks explosively from both sides, his running floaters are unstoppable, he also defends really hard and he is physical, but above all he hustles and never takes anything for granted, he absolutely deserves to be the “talk of the league”. 

For the record, few hours before last night’s game, Sasha Vezenkov stated that TJ is one of the candidates for this year’s Euroleague MVP award and that speaks volumes about the impact Shorts already has in this league. 

Well deserved 👏 TJ, keep proving them wrong…
