[BREAKING] Mutaz Barshim (@mutaz.barshim) ends season due to sprained ankle and damage ligaments. He was attempting the 2.46m World Record last weekend at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial Meet in Hungary when the injury occurred. He still won the meet (breaking the meet record) with a world lead of 2.40m. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I am not worried and have gotten postive feedback from my doctors....I don't need to rush or stress, my biggest goal next year is of course the World Championship in my home country Qatar" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
