As someone who’s deaf/hard of hearing, I definitely have felt like I’m missing part of an experience while having a hard time keeping up with details. Now with the new Expressive Captions feature, I can actually feel/see the emotions from sound and speech in captions across apps and video/audio messages—from understanding the person’s volume and tone of what someone’s saying, to crowds cheering at a game to someone groaning after hearing a ridiculous dad joke.
