Meet R. Alex Murray! Long time fans of the Tavern will recognize him from previous shows, where he joined us as the Fighter. We’re thrilled to welcome him back to the Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty-Sided Tavern!

Favorite D&D character you ever played as?
I'm currently playing a Bard named Wolfrick Thunderpump. He's a heavy metal drummer who uses all Thunder and Psychic damage. He basically sound blasts folks around the battlefield and then makes fun of them till they run away. He's very fun and the loosest possible cannon. I hope my party manages to save his Mom. She will be so mad if Wolfrick let's this Vampire eat her.

Favorite creature in the D&D Monster Manual?
I love Bullywugs. They're so goofy, and more interesting than most low level baddies. They've got a little more of their own culture going on than Kobolds or Goblins and they aren't as easily bent to the will of a big bad. So, they end up attacking parties because adventurers have wandered into a swamp where they ought not be. Plus, lil frog guys. Can't beat lil frog guys.

What class are you in real life?
I'm a druid. Currently a city druid, but a druid all the same. I've got healing skills and deep earth knowledge. I find paths. I commune with the stars, but I see it as part of my calling to tether their signs and wisdom to the heartbeat of the land we live on. I also love critters and have been known to shape shift. I'm happiest paddling a boat or hiking a mountain, and I absolutely know if you should eat that mushroom or not. Plus I can talk to birds. Let me know if you want a Tarot reading.
