Earlier today, Jakob Ingebrigtsen 🇳🇴 threw down another dominating victory at the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Italy, as the Norwegian superstar added yet another European title to his name, thanks to a 29:33 clocking in the 10000m distance. 

Ingebrigtsen now has 9 European senior titles to his name in both cross country and on the track! 

European T&F Championships: 
2018 -> 1500m (🥇), 5000m (🥇)
2022 -> 1500m (🥇), 5000m (🥇) 

European Indoor T&F Championships: 
2019 -> 1500m (🥇) 
2021 -> 1500m (🥇), 3000m (🥇) 

European Cross Country Championships: 
2021 -> 10000m (🥇) 
2022 -> 10000m (🥇) 

And he’s still just 22 years old 😳

Ingebrigtsen’s range is truly unreal. 1500m Olympic Gold Medalist, 5000m World Champion, and now 2x European 10000m XC Champion. 

Ingebrigtsen will hope to become the first non-African athlete since Mohammed Mourhit 🇧🇪 to win the World Cross Country Championships in Bathurst, Australia next year in February. Joshua Cheptegei, Jacob Kiplimo, and Selemon Barega will likely be entered for next year’s big race. Can Jakob Ingebrigtsen find a way to shock the running world and become a world cross country champion?
