This year’s CBD Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) came with a special announcement: Melbourne will host the Special Olympics Australia National Games in 2026! 🎉

For those who don’t know, LETR is the largest grassroots awareness and fundraising vehicle for Special Olympics.

The LETR raises money and awareness for Special Olympics Victoria, which supports people with intellectual disabilities to participate in sport. The torch run is also a way for Victoria Police members, many who donate money from their wage, to show their support for Special Olympics athletes.

This year alone, LETR has raised $392,436! 

Thank you to employees, participants and volunteers who banded together to celebrate International Day of People with a Disability by participating in this year’s Law Enforcement Torch Run.
