The Colorado Avalanche announced Monday the trade of goaltender Alexandar Georgiev and forward Nikolai Kovalenko to the San Jose Sharks. 🏒

The Avs also traded a 2025 fifth-round draft pick and a 2026 second-round pick.

Colorado receives goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood, forward Givani Smith and a fifth-round draft pick in the 2027 NHL Draft from the Sharks.
